Uniforms and Equipment
No special uniform or equipment is necessary to join training. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and we will provide you with any equipment that you might need during training. You may purchase uniforms and gears as you progress.
Training Guides and Etiquette
Observation of basic forms of etiquette is integral to creating a safe, respectful, and attentive atmosphere.
● Bow lightly when entering or leaving the training space.
● The instructor will lead you in with the Formal Bows before and after class.
● Effort should be made to be on time for training, but if you are late, quietly join in when safe.
● Check the safety of your equipment before practice. No live blade or toy swords are allowed.
● Training wears should be kept clean. Fingernails/toenails should be kept short. No jewelry/watch should be worn.
